Scholastic Sadism

AKA: school started back up!

I'm taking infant development, development over the lifespan, psychological testing, and American Heritage. I'm not very excited about any of it, particularly American Heritage. It's a GE (general education) class and it's primarily freshmen. Freshmen aren't inherently evil, but that's mainly because I don't believe anyone to be inherently evil... Oh well, come the end of April and I'll be done with all of this! :)

I tried out extensions.

I liked them, but the color of my hair and of the extensions didn't match as well as they could have, so I took them out after 4 days. It also hurt. I realized how high maintenance long hair can be. I hadn't realized since my hair has always cooperated so well. Hopefully those four days prove effective enough for me to want to grow my hair out again. We'll see...

Temple Worker

Being a temple worker has long been one of my ideal callings. Well, it's a wonderful opportunity, but it's not at all what I'd expected. Due to a lot of turn over and a new shift, extending the temple's hours of operation, no one seems to know my schedule or what hours I am supposed to work. It's okay, it's just annoying. But, I'll live. It'll improve I'm sure. The few people that I work with that I was able to get to know some small amount seem like great people. There was one unhappy woman, but I don't anticipate working with her again any time soon.

I'm working on rearranging my room and getting rid of things I don't need. We'll have to see how successful I am!

Have a great night!

T-day, Black Friday, Recouperation, and Sunday School

My T-day was good. I slept until a bit after 3pm. I internet shopped in preparation for Friday's sales (so I got my baskets full of "wish items" to see how cheap they'd get), I helped cook for 2.5 hours, ate, played a hand of Uno, watched Enchanted and sang along to all of the songs I was awake for, took more insulin :) and then cleaned with fudge as my propellant. Then I went through my baskets again. I slept. I finalized my purchases around noon on Friday after waking up. Then, I layed around. Eventually I got dressed (no shower- too much energy). I went to Walmart and Target. I got a tree and decorations.

I put those up. I crashed.

So that brings us to Saturday. It was just a day of rest. I taught Sunday School. I found out at 7pm on Saturday night that I was teaching. Luckily it was on family history work so that went well. It took me forever to fall asleep. But several friends stopped by so Saturday night was spent chatting and catching up. That was really nice because I was bummed before that.

I woke up SO pale on Sunday! And I woke up 20 minutes before church started (I'd set my alarm to PM. Oops.) I, needless to say, spent nearly and hour trying to make my face look like normal. It didn't quite work, but it was close enough. I walked to church, listened to the end of Sacrament Meeting, and then taught Sunday School. I wasn't very nice though. At one point I said, "Can't someone sum that quote up? I have freaking pneumonia and I got it!" Oops. Yeah, I was tired, grumpy, dizzy, and frustrated. After being visit taught, I slept for 6 hours. Now, I'm trying to find the floor of my room and get to my bed (once I get the clothes put up).

I'm going to attempt work tomorrow, but that's as ambitious as I think I can be. I need to go to the Health Center and return the nebulizer and the humidifier sometime tomorrow.

Yeah I think that's my life.

Also, I bought this in red, black, and brown. :)

And finally, I'm trying to find clean laundry so that I can attempt to go back to work.
